Cabinet Shop Team Member (Entry-Level to Experienced)

Location: Carol stream, IL
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time considered)
Pay: Competitive wages based on experience

About Us

We are a growing cabinet shop specializing in custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and creating a positive work environment. We are currently seeking motivated individuals at  all skill levels , from entry-level helpers to experienced cabinet makers, to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on experience level, but may include:

• Assisting with cabinet construction, assembly, and installation
• Operating woodworking machinery such as table saws, panel saws, sanders, and CNC equipment (training provided if needed)
• Measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling cabinet components
• Reading and interpreting shop drawings and plans (experienced roles)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Supporting finishing, hardware installation, and quality control
• Following safety guidelines and shop procedures

Experience Levels

We are hiring for  multiple experience levels :

Entry-Level / Shop Helper

• No experience required
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic
• Ability to use basic hand tools or learn quickly

Skilled / Experienced Cabinet Maker

• Previous cabinet shop or woodworking experience
• Ability to work independently on projects
• Experience with machinery, layout, and assembly
• Ability to read drawings and maintain quality standards

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license is a plus
